The Brookings-Harbor High School Homecoming celebration kicks off today with the annual Powder Puff Football Game at 7 p.m. at Elmer Bankus Field.
Donations will be collected in lieu of admission, with all proceeds going directly to local charity Katelyn’s Cause to provide gas cards, food and other needs for families dealing with medical expenses and travel. Learn more about Katelyn’s cause at https://www.facebook.com/KatelynsCause/.
Friday, Oct. 12
The homecoming noise parade is planned for approximately 2:30 p.m. on Friday. The parade will start at the high school and proceed through town before ending back at the BHHS football field.
Later that night, the Bruins football team will be playing the St. Mary’s Crusaders in a league game starting at 7 p.m. The coronation for the Homecoming king and queen will be at halftime.
Saturday, Oct. 13
A homecoming dance will be held for high school students on Saturday and will take place from 8 p.m. to midnight in the BHHS gym.
Thursday, Oct 25.
BHHS will host a blood drive for Red Cross as a homecoming season service activity for students and staff from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 25.
