Bruins football

The Bruins travel to Rogue River to play the Chieftains this Saturday at 7 p.m. after their Friday night game was rescheduled. The two teams will face off in a non-league game. With a 1-1 record so far this season, the Bruins are currently rank No. 7 in the OSAA 3A rankings.

Bruins girls soccer

After a big 11-1 win against Marshfield last week in a non-league game, the Bruins girls soccer team will be taking a break until Sept. 18 when they start their first 3A league season off against by hosting South Umpqua at 3 p.m. They’ll then travel to Glide to play the Glide/Yoncalla team in their second non-league game. At 2-1 overall, the Bruins are currently rank No. 9 in the OSAA 3A/2A/1A rankings.

Panthers football

Coming off a 58-12 loss against the Illinois Valley Cougars, the Panthers head to play on a neutral site in Summit, Oregon next Saturday when they take on the John Day Miners at 7 p.m. in a non-league game. At 0-2 so far this season, the Panthers currently sit at rank No. 29 in the OSAA 2A rankings.

Panthers volleyball

The Panthers traveled to play Coquille last night for their second league game and travel again on Thursday to go up against Reedsport in their third at 6:30 p.m. The Panthers will then return to Reedsport again on Saturday to compete in the Reedsport tournament starting 10 a.m.
