The police blotter is a public record of incidents as reported by law enforcement agencies. All individuals arrested or charged with a crime are innocent until proven guilty. The information printed is preliminary and subject to change. The Brookings Police Department provides emergency dispatch services for the City of Brookings as well as Southern Curry County 9-1-1 calls, dispatching for state, county, and local law enforcement, five fire departments, and Cal-Ore ambulance.   • At 12:11 p.m., a report of a dispute/fight in the 200 block of Memory Lane.
  • At 12:33 p.m., a report of illegal camping in the north bank of Chetco River Road.
  • At 3:53 p.m., a report of stalking in the 900 block of Weaver Lane.
  • At 4:17 p.m., a report of a traffic crash with injuries at Chetco Avenue and Mill Beach Road.
  • At 5:22 p.m., a report of illegal camping at Shorewood Terrace and Pacific Heights.
  • At 5:47 p.m., a report of disorderly conduct in the 600 block of Chetco Avenue.
  • At report of disorderly conduct in the 97900 block of Shopping Center Avenue.
  • At 9:43 p.m., a report of illegal fireworks in the 16200 block of Gilbert Way.

Saturday, July 25:

  • At 7:02 a.m., a report of theft in the 500 block of Chetco Lane.
  • At 7:53 a.m., an animal complaint reported in the 700 block of Railroad Street.
  • At 8:55 a.m., a report of assault in the 16000 block of Highway 101.
  • At 9:43 a.m., an animal complaint reported in the 98800 block of the north bank of Chetco River Road.
  • At 10:08 a.m., a report of a traffic crash with injuries on southbound Highway 101 at mile post 362.
  • At 11:59 a.m., a report of theft in the 500 block of Fern Avenue.
  • At 3 p.m., a subject was criminally trespassed from a store in the 300 block of 5th Street.
  • At 4:14 p.m., a report of theft in the 300 block of 5th Street.
  • At 5:35 p.m., a report of theft in the 1200 block of Chetco Avenue.
  • At 5:38 p.m., a report of theft in the 900 block of Third Street.
  • At 8:06 p.m., a report of disorderly conduct in the 1100 block of Sandy Lane.

Sunday, July 26:

  • At 12:23 a.m., a report of a minor in possession/purchasing liquor in the 900 block of Hidden Court.
  • At 8:32 a.m., an animal complaint reported in the 800 block of Chetco Avenue.
  • At 11:11 a.m., an animal complaint reported at Chetco Avenue and 5th Street.
  • At 1:33 p.m., a fire reported in the Stateline Road area.
  • At 2:07 p.m., a report of a illegal camping in the 1200 block of Chetco Avenue.
  • At 3:56 p.m., a report of a hit and run at Chetco Avenue and Oat Street.
  • At 5:35 p.m., a report of a burglary in the 100 block of Woodward Place.
  • At 6:49 p.m., a report of illegal camping on Bridge Street.
