Monday, Dec. 30

At 8:57 a.m. Theft reported on Cottage Street.

At 12:19 p.m. Driver involved in a single-vehicle rollover crash on Winchuck River Road; declined medical assistance.

At 1:35 p.m. Unlawful entry of motor vehicle reported at Kevin Place. Citizen had purse stolen from unlocked vehicle.

At 1:47 p.m. Male transient who consumed food at a store on 5th Street without paying for it was formally trespassed from the store.

At 2:01 p.m. Suspicious conditions reported in the 800 block of Chetco Avenue.

At 3:06 p.m. Transient male formally trespassed from a business in the 600 block of Chetco Avenue.

At 3:45 p.m. Officer investigating possible attempted burglary at an apartment on Moore Street.

At 8:01 p.m. Theft reported in Harbor.

Tuesday, Dec. 31

At 2:15 a.m. Building check on Spruce Street at the post office.

At 8:48 a.m. Adult male arrested on Pioneer Road on an Idaho warrant and transported to jail without incident.

At 9:28 a.m. Suspicious conditions reported in the 500 block of Chetco Avenue.

At 11:55 a.m. Dispute/fight reported on Huckleberry Ridge Road.

At 3:58 p.m. Suspicious conditions reported on Pacific Avenue.

At 4:16 p.m. Suspicious conditions reported on Old County Road. Officer was unable to locate a group of juveniles reportedly smoking near Azalea Park.

At 5:10 p.m. Suspicious conditions reported at Oak and Fir streets. Suspicious blue van driven by an older male was seen in a neighborhood where it didn't belong. Driver appeared to be following teenage girls. It was gone upon officer’s arrival.

At 5:21 p.m. Suspicious conditions reported at Harris Beach State Park. Park ranger found children’s shoes and a dog leash by the side of the road.

At 8:50 p.m. Illegal fireworks reported on Sandy Lane. Officers were unable to locate the source.

At 9:14 p.m. Suspicious conditions reported on Railroad Avenue.

At 10:19 p.m. Report of shots fired on Birch Street.

At 11:30 p.m. Prowler reported on Spruce Drive.

Wednesday, Jan. 1

At 12:02 a.m. Dispute/fight reported in the 600 block of Chetco Avenue.

At 12:11 a.m. Report of shots fired reported on Tanbark Lane.

At 2:06 a.m. Officer observed three adult males in dispute in the 1100 block of Chetco Avenue. None of them cooperative or wished to press charges. Warned for disorderly conduct.

At 2:52 a.m. Illegal fireworks reported on Boat Basin Road.

At 3:02 a.m. Officers responded to large verbal dispute at an apartment complex on 5th Street. None of the injuries reached the criteria for assault; all parties declined medical attention. No crime, no arrests, but the case will be forwarded to DA for consideration of harassment and criminal mischief charges at request of caller.

At 8:39 a.m. Citizen awoke to find a vehicle crashed into her back yard on Pioneer Road with the door open, unoccupied. Vehicle owner and driver were contacted, and vehicle towed.

At 2:52 p.m. Harassment reported on Court Street.

At 6:39 p.m. Transient male sleeping in a business doorway in the 1000 block of Chetco Avenue was moved along.

At 9:13 p.m. Illegal fireworks reported on 5th and Easy streets.

At 10:11 p.m. Criminal trespass reported on Hemlock Street.

At 10:27 p.m. Dispute/fight reported in the 16200 block of U.S. Highway 101.
