Law Enforcement

Thursday, Dec. 26

At 8:25 a.m. Criminal mischief reported at Kindel Street.

At 10:49 a.m. Officer spoke to citizen regarding harassment.

At 11:55 a.m. Officer warned motorist for illegal camping and blocking bike path at Beach Avenue.

At 1:16 p.m. Citizen complaint received regarding harassment on 5th Street.

At 3:47 p.m. Criminal trespass reported at Ransom Avenue. Officer assisted parties having a disagreement; one party agreed to stay elsewhere for the night.

At 3:57 p.m. Theft of cash, credit cards and ID from South Bank Chetco Avenue.

At 4:44 p.m. Female transient was cited for PCS-meth and criminal trespass in the 800 block of Chetco Avenue at a business where she was previously trespassed.

Friday, Dec. 27

At 12:50 a.m. Report of transients on private property on Railroad Avenue. Contacted and trespassed from property.

At 8:25 a.m. Transient, illegally camping on private property on 5th Street, was moved along.

At 10:57 a.m. Hit-and-run reported in the 600 block of Chetco Avenue. Vehicle hit by unknown vehicle while parked.

At 11:02 a.m. Verbal dispute between parties on Ransom Avenue. Curry Community Health called to scene.

At 11:35 a.m. Unlawful entry of motor vehicle reported on Oak Street. Items reportedly taken from parked vehicle.

At 1:12 p.m. Verbal dispute between intoxicated subjects on Fir Street. Parties separated.

At 1:20 p.m. Report of someone electronically accessing business account and taking a sum of money.

At 1:51 p.m. Report of transients in bathroom smoking and eating at library.

At 2:17 p.m. Suspicious conditions reported on Pine Street. Individual trespassed from property.

At 2:21 p.m. Transients reported loitering and panhandling at a business in the 16200 block of U.S. Highway 101.

At 3:57 p.m. Unlawful entry of motor vehicle on Easy Street. Report of purse missing.

At 4:21 p.m. Reported suicidal subject on Spruce Street. Subject was contacted and Curry Community Health responded to scene.

At 10:10 p.m. Report of vehicles and individuals at beach after hours. All were moved along.

At 10:17 p.m. Report of hearing several shots fired on Cape Ferrelo Road.

Saturday, Dec. 28

At 1:00 a.m. Transient on private property on Ross Road was moved along.

At 7:11 a.m. Three individuals warned for telephonic harassment in the 600 block of Chetco Avenue.

At 8:23 a.m. Transient on 5th Street property who had been previously criminally trespassed; left property before officers arrived.

At 11:25 a.m. Person arrested for theft at business on 5th Street.

At 12:07 p.m. Report of suspicious conditions involving juveniles in the 800 block of Chetco Avenue.

At 2:14 p.m. Dispute/fight reported on Alder Street. One warned for disorderly conduct.

At 2:26 p.m. Theft reported on Alder Street.

At 8:34 p.m. Report of house being egged on Ruth Lane. Talked with all parties involved and warned for criminal mischief.

At 10:53 p.m. Officers responded to possible dispute in progress on Weaver Lane.

Sunday, Dec. 29

At 1:29 a.m. Prowler reported on Sunset Strip.

At 12:23 p.m. Assault reported on Brown Deer Lane.

At 2:29 pm. Criminal trespass reported on King Street.

At 3:02 p.m. Unauthorized use of a vehicle reported on Gavin Lane.

At 3:16 p.m. Criminal mischief reported on Easy Street.

At 3:52 p.m. Assault reported on Court Street.

At 4:17 p.m. Fire reported on Fern Avenue.

At 6:29 p.m. Suspicious conditions reported on Spruce Street.

At 6:43 p.m. Theft reported in Harbor area.

At 7:41 p.m. Suspicious conditions reported on North Bank Chetco River Road.

At 7:48 p.m. Criminal trespass reported in the 800 block of Chetco Avenue.

At 9:38 p.m. Suspicious conditions reported in the 16200 block of U.S. Highway 101.

At 9:45 p.m. Dispute/fight reported on West Benham Lane.

At 10:42 p.m. Dispute/fight reported on Pioneer Road.

At 8:45 p.m. Report of a dispute earlier in the morning in the area of Caughell Street.
