The Brookings Police Department provides emergency dispatch services for the City of Brookings as well as Southern Curry County 9-1-1 calls, dispatching for state, county, and local law enforcement, five fire departments, and Cal-Ore ambulance. Wednesday, Oct. 21

At 7:18 a.m., criminal mischief reported on Spruce St. Unknown suspect(s) threw a rock through the front window of a business; investigation continuing.

At 12:52 p.m., report of shots fired on Tribur Ln.

At 3:03 p.m., officer assisted citizen with a telephonic harassment complaint on Fern Ave.

At 3:10 p.m., misdemeanor warrant served by citation during a routine traffic stop. Driver verbally warned for multiple traffic violations.

At 6:11 p.m., male who physically harassed a restaurant employee on 5th St. was arrested for harassment and resisting arrest. He was released with a court citation and has been formally trespassed from the business and property.

At 9:11 p.m., transient male sleeping in front of a business in the 600 block of Chetco Ave. was directed to move along at owner request and did so.

At 11:03 p.m., unauthorized use of vehicle reported Sandy Ln.

At 12:28 a.m., fire reported on Maple St. between Cypress and Cedar streets.

At 12:48 a.m., disorderly conduct reported at Chetco River Bridge northbound.

At 10:55 a.m., reckless endangering reported on Marina Heights Rd.

At 11:02 a.m., hit-and-run reported for a vehicle damaged at an earlier date, possibly in a local parking lot.

At 12:31 p.m., illegal camping reported on Railroad St.

At 2:08 p.m., found child reported on Lucky Ln.

At 2:22 p.m., fire located in brush at the end of Wharf St. was extinguished and involved parties were counseled.

At 4:04 p.m., harassment reported on Dawson Rd.

At 7:39 p.m., traffic crash with injury was reported on U.S. Highway 101 at milepost 363 near the Oregon-California border.

At 7:55 p.m., telephone harassment reported on Memory Ln.

Tuesday, Oct. 27

At 8:06 a.m., criminal trespass reported on North Bank Chetco River Rd.

At 8:50 a.m., male subject arrested on 5th St. for driving under the influence of intoxicants.

At 8:11 p.m., hit-and-run reported in the 600 block of Chetco Ave. Vehicle mirror struck while parked.

At 9:27 p.m., traffic crash with injury reported on Cape Ferrelo Rd. Medics and fire responded to vehicle fire.

At 10:44 p.m., two male subjects were warned for disorderly conduct on 3rd St. between Easy St. and Ransom Ave.

At 11:39 p.m., illegal camping reported on 6th St.
