Wednesday, Nov. 20

At 1:22 a.m. Vehicle impounded at U.S. Highway 101 and Museum Road for no insurance.

At 3:59 a.m. Suspicious conditions reported on North Bank Chetco River Road near milepost 6.

At 8:22 a.m. Brookings Fire personnel put out a beach fire off Chetco Point.

At 10:37 a.m. Stalking reported on 5th Street.

At 2:19 p.m. Male transient was reportedly mumbling then screaming, scaring passersby on Alder Street. He was gone upon officer arrival.

At 3:56 p.m. Animal complaint on 5th Street. Ongoing neighbor dispute not being handled by property owners.

At 6:20 p.m. Dispute/fight on 6th Street being handled in-house by staff.

At 6:56 p.m. Assault reported on 5th Street. School resource officer to follow up.

At 11:37 p.m. Stolen vehicle recovered at U.S. Highway 101 at Elk Valley crossroads.

Thursday, Nov. 21

At 8:11 a.m. Forgery/fraud/bad check reported in the 16200 block of U.S. Highway 101.

At 9:09 a.m. Female blocking Pioneer Road with vehicle was warned for same; she was loading some items from the house into the vehicle and moved it out of the way.

At 12:12 p.m. Citizen reporting ongoing issue with neighbor blasting music on Ransom Avenue. Officer assisted with the process for a citizen citation.

At 3:15 p.m. Criminal trespass reported in the 900 block of Chetco Avenue.

At 3:31 p.m. Student who has been trespassed from all school premises and property was found on school grounds on Fern Avenue and was advised she will be arrested if there is another occurrence.

At 8:05 p.m. Dispute/fight reported on Otter Terrace. Citizen reported having witnessed a male chasing a female down the street. Officer located the involved parties at a residence and determined this had been a verbal dispute. Neither party had marks or indications of physical injury and neither wished to pursue charges. They were counseled.

At 8:46 p.m. Unlawful entry motor vehicle on Carpenterville Road at MP 1.

At 10:39 p.m. Report of a suspicious vehicle in the area of Fifth Place.

At 7:12 a.m. Report of illegal camping in the area of the Curry Public Library.

At 11:11 a.m. Report of an abandoned vehicle in the area of the Visitors Center.

At 12:03 p.m. Report of trespass in the area of Jerry’s Flat Road.

At 2:13 p.m. Report of a disturbance in the area of Second Street.

At 6:19 p.m. Report of a possible drunk driver in the area of Sixth Street.

At 6:49 p.m. Report of an intoxicated subject in the area of Moore Street.

At 7:32 p.m. Report of trespassing in the area Fourth Street. A female, age 59, arrested for trespassing.

Monday, Nov. 18

At 5:57 a.m. Noise complaint in the area of Mateer Road.

At 8:34 a.m. Report of theft in the area of the 29600 block of Ellensburg Avenue. Female, age 25, issued citation for theft III.

At 10:20 a.m. Report of threats in the area of the 29800 block of Ellensburg Avenue.

At 12:39 p.m. Report of theft in the area of the 29600 block of Ellensburg Avenue.

At 4:33 p.m. Report of threats in the area of the 29800 block of Ellensburg Avenue.

At 4:51 p.m. Report of a disturbance in the area of Moore Street.

At 7:51 a.m. Report of a dispute in the area of Leith Road.

At 4:33 p.m. Report of criminal trespass in the area of Strahan Street.

At 6:56 p.m. Report of trespassing in the area of the 29300 block of Ellensburg Avenue.
