Law Enforcement

The Brookings Police Department provides emergency dispatch services for the City of Brookings as well as Southern Curry County 9-1-1 calls, dispatching for state, county, and local law enforcement, five fire departments, and Cal-Ore ambulance. At 11:02 a.m., criminal trespass reported on Old County Rd. A female transient was excluded from all city parks.

At 1:37 p.m., male and female involved in a verbal confrontation on 5th St.

At 5:55 p.m., criminal trespass reported on Fern and Spruce St.

At 8:57 p.m., a male and female again having a verbal dispute on Chetco Ave. at Hillside.

At 2:16 a.m., after a traffic crash with injury, a deceased subject was reported at Chetco Ave. and Oak St.

At 9:28 a.m., criminal trespass reported at Spruce St. and Fern Ave.

At 10:14 a.m., disorderly conduct reported on Railroad St. and 5th St.

At 10:22 a.m., disorderly conduct reported at Pacific and Chetco Ave.

At 6:16 a.m., vehicle vs deer crash with no injury; deer walked away and vehicle suffered minor damage.

At 7:53 a.m., littering reported on Railroad St. Transients were warned to stay off of private property and to pick up garbage mess that they had created.

At 9:27 a.m., criminal trespass reported in the 900 block of Chetco Ave. Male transient trespassed from business after creating a large mess of trash.

At 9:40 a.m., threats reported in the 14300 block of U.S. Highway 101 South.

At 10:38 a.m., criminal trespass reported on Fern Ave.

At 11:17 a.m., dispute/fight reported on Fern Ave.

At 11:41 a.m., female arrested on outstanding warrant on Cypress Ct. Cited and released.

At 11:43 a.m., elderly female was located under blankets in home after being thought to be missing.

At 2:54 p.m., dispute/fight reported on Dixie St.

At 3:39 p.m., mutual assault between two males reported on Fern Ave.; no crimes committed.

At 8:02 p.m., political sign stolen after a female suspect jumped over a fence onto private property on 3rd St.
