At 2:14 p.m. Report of a disorderly subject in the 29500 block of Ellensburg Avenue. A 53-year-old woman was arrested for disorderly conduct and offensive littering.

Wednesday, March 18

At 12:15 a.m. Adult male was arrested for assault on Fleet Street and transported to jail, following a hospital evaluation.

At 3:18 a.m. Assault reported on Court Street.

At 7:20 a.m. Three transients camped in a business doorway in the 600 block of Chetco Avenue were trespassed from the property and directed to clean up their mess before leaving.

At 1:38 p.m. Assault reported in the 15700 block of U.S. Highway 101 South.

At 2:34 p.m. Suspicious conditions reported on Spruce Street. Lost juvenile was reunited with parent.

At 2:41 p.m. Criminal mischief reported on Ransom Avenue for vandalism to the shed at the city pool.

At 6:38 p.m. Suspicious conditions reported at Gerlach Lane.

At 7:00 p.m. Illegal burn reported on Art Street. Person was warned for burning without a permit and extinguished the fire.

At 7:13 p.m. Transient male warned for disorderly conduct after stepping into traffic repeatedly at 5th Street and Chetco Avenue.

At 7:39 p.m. Suspicious conditions reported on Railroad Street near Center Avenue. Vehicle occupant was warned against camping in city limits.

At 7:40 p.m. Criminal trespass reported on Fleet Street. Transients setting up camp on business property were formally trespassed and moved along as

directed.

At 11:17 p.m. Male swinging a machete around in the 500 block of Chetco Avenue was arrested on a valid misdemeanor warrant. He was cited into

court and released.

Thursday, March 19

At 12:22 a.m. Three transients camping at Mill Beach in a vehicle were advised of park hours and left as directed.

At 1:46 a.m. Occupants of a motor home camping in the McDonalds parking lot were trespassed and advised to move along.

At 9:45 a.m. Hit-and-run reported in the 16200 block of U.S. Highway 101 South.

At 9:50 a.m. Identity theft reported on Highland Avenue.

At 12:35 p.m. Suspicious conditions reported on the North Bank Chetco River Road at Gardner Ridge Road.

At 2:02 p.m. Illegal dumping reported in the 500 block of Chetco Avenue.

At 6:50 p.m. Male warned for disorderly conduct for swinging a rain gutter at passing vehicles. He was trespassed from a Kevin Place address.

At 9:05 p.m. Suspicious conditions reported on South Bank Chetco River Road. Fire personnel responded to an RV park for a report of strong natural gas-like smell. They found the source to be an overheated vehicle battery. Situation resolved.

At 10:52 p.m. Fire reported at Chetco Point. Fire personnel contacted a subject with a fire on the beach reported by a citizen to be very large. The fire was legal and attended, and the subject had a plan to put it out before he left.

Friday, March 20

At 6:37 a.m. Deceased subject reported on Gerlach Lane.

At 8:12 a.m. Criminal trespass reported on Azalea Park Road.

At 12:59 p.m. Dispute/fight reported on Spruce Street.

At 4:29 p.m. Criminal trespass reported at north end of Chetco River Bridge.

At 4:57 p.m. Forgery/fraud/bad check reported on Ross Road.

At 7:05 p.m. Assault reported on West Benham Lane.

At 7:20 p.m. Counterfeit reported on 5th Street.
