At 9:41 a.m., report of an abandoned vehicle on Old County Road.

At 9:54 p.m., a motorist received a verbal warning for speeding on Chetco Avenue near the wharf.

Wednesday, April 15:

At 12:38 a.m., a driving complaint in the 29400 block of Ellensburg Avenue.

At 2:43 a.m., officers contacted occupants of a vehicle parked behind Brookings Inn, at 1143 Chetco Avenue. They determined the registered owner had rented a room and parked where the vehicle could be seen from the room.

At 7:19 a.m., an officer invested a report of shoplifting at Fred Meyer at 325 5th Street.

At 7:57 a.m., an animal complaint at 324 Del Norte Lane.

At 8:04 a.m., an ambulance was called to 650 Old Country Road.

At 9:33 a.m., a resident reported accidently leaving money in an ATM machine at 898 Chetco Avenue.

At 9:41 a.m., a patient became frustrated with staff and was acting out at the Curry Medical Center ER, located at 500 5th Street. He left on foot at the responding officer’s direction.

At 10:14 a.m., an officer checked on a reported transient camp on Mill Beach, which was unoccupied.

At 12:16 p.m., someone tried to cash a bad check at 720 Easy Street.

At 1:09 p.m., a report of a civil problem in the 800 block of Pioneer Road.

At 1:36 p.m., an abandoned vehicle was tagged for tow on Hemlock.
