Wednesday, April 21

• At 7:42 a.m., police responded to the area of Oak and Chetco after multiple callers reported a distracted driver. Officers contacted the driver and warned them for distracted driving.

• At 9:23 a.m., officers responded to the 500 block of Chetco and warned a woman for criminal trespass.

• At 10:02 a.m., police responded to the 600 block of 5th Street after a receiving reports of an elderly man who appeared lost. Police found the man and returned him to a local nursing home.

• At 2:36 p.m., police responded to the 500 block of Chetco after receiving reports of an injured animal. Police were unable to locate the animal.

• At 3:21 p.m., a fire was reported on Myers Creek Road.

• At 3:38 p.m., police responded to North Bank Chetco River Road and warned a transient man for disorderly conduct.

• At 5:35 p.m., police arrested a man in the 200 block of Wharf Street on criminal trespass and disorderly conduct charges.

• At 6:20 p.m., police responded to the 400 block of Fir Street after a caller reported a dispute. Police located two men, both who denied a dispute.

Thursday, April 22

• At 9:13 a.m., police responded to Highway 101 and Heather and stopped a vehicle reported to be swerving all over the road. No signs of impairment were found, although the driver admitted to being tired.

• At 10:14 a.m., policer responded to Alder and Railroad to a report of a hit-and-run accident. They located the driver who left the scene and cited the driver.

• At 1:25 p.m., a traffic accident was reported at Chetco and Marketplace. A driver was cited for driving with a suspended license.

• At 1:41 p.m., a transient man was formally trespassed from the 1100 block of Chetco.

• At 2:55 p.m., police responded to the 300 block of 5th Street and asked three transient men to move along.

• At 5 p.m., police located a group of juveniles in the 600 block of Old County Road and counseled them on disorderly conduct.

• At 10:52 p.m., police responded to the 500 block of Chetco to reports of a man trying to break into a car. Police learned the man owned the vehicle and locked the keys inside.

Friday, April 23

• At 5:04 a.m., an officer contacted a transient man at Curry Medical Center who was making suspicious statements. The man asked for medical care and the officer stayed on scene until he was released.

• At 6:35 a.m., police responded to the 1600 block of Highway 101 to a report of a fight. Officers contacted both parties and no charges were filed.

• At 9:58 a.m., police warned a female transient for walking in the middle of the road at Highway 101 and North Bank Chetco River.

• At 10:24 a.m., police responded to the 500 block of Pine Street after a caller reported a door being open. Officers cleared the residence.

• At 2:57 p.m., a hit-and-run accident was reported at Chetco and Lorings.

• At 5:47 p.m., police responded to Mill Beach and asked a transient man lodging in the area to move along.

• At 7:51 p.m., police cited and released a man on an outstanding warrant in the 900 block of Chetco.

Saturday, April 24

• At 1:57 a.m., police responded to the 500 block of Fir Street to a report of a fight in progress. Police intervened, and the parties were separated for the night.

• At 10:11 a.m., a man was formally trespassed from the 300 block of 5th Street.

• At 1:55 p.m., Brookings firefighters contacted a man outside of the department who was experiencing a drug overdose. Narcan was administered and the man was transported to the hospital.

• At 2:52 p.m., a transient man was formally trespassed from the 1000 block of Highway 101 after dumpster diving and throwing items at an employee.

• At 5:19 p.m., officers responded to the 600 block of Old County Road to a report of a woman with a knife. Officers located the woman, who was carrying wood, not a knife.

• At 9:05 p.m., officers responded to the 300 block of Matot Street after a caller reported receiving threats.

Sunday, April 25

• At 8:25 a.m., a caller reported a case of menacing in the 600 block of Old County Road.

• At 1:55 p.m., police responded to the 700 block of 2nd Street after receiving a report of suspicious conditions.

• At 6:46 p.m., an animal complaint was received in the 15700 block of Highway 101.

• At 7:05 p.m., a fire was reported in the 300 block of 5th Street.

• At 7:36 p.m., a dispute was reported in the 98400 block of Robin Lane.

• At 7:54 p.m., a caller reported an assault in the 16100 block of Kings Way.

Monday, April 26

• At 1:49 a.m., police conducted a welfare check in the 700 block of 5th Street.

• At 10:50 a.m., an animal complaint was received from the 700 block of Fern Avenue.

• At 11:17 a.m., police responded to the 98200 block of Tuttle Lane after a caller reported a dispute.

• At 1:22 p.m., a caller reported disorderly conduct at Ransom and 3rd Street.

• At 2:24 p.m., a dispute was reported in the 500 block of Fir Street.

• At 3:06 p.m., police received a report of a theft in the 700 block of Chetco.

• At 4:43 p.m., a fight was reported in the 500 block of Fir Street.

• At 5:58 p.m., police responded to the 600 block of Chetco to investigate a criminal trespass complaint.

• At 7:26 p.m., a traffic accident was reported in the 500 block of Railroad.
