The Soroptimist of Brookings, Gold Beach and Crescent City want to thank all of the members of our community who showed up to walk in our Walk for Freedom on Oct. 19.

We were pleased to see so many who, in spite of the rain, came to support our event. We also want to thank those who made generous donations to our cause. Your enthusiasm was contagious.

We hope you realize the impact you made to those who observed you walking silently, carrying your signs. You helped to make all aware of the scourge of human trafficking.

There are millions enslaved in the world today. Our mission is to do what we can to abolish human trafficking in our community. We will continue our efforts to try to achieve this goal, and we welcome your support in the future.

Sincerely,

Dee Glaze
