Dear Editor:

I'm "pissed off" that our city government has to have meetings in order to enact a law to prevent people from having bowel movements in public on public property!

What has our society come to? I remember when if someone urinated in public, they had to register as a sex offender for life.

I note that what they are considering involves public property. How about the private-property owner? What happened to their rights?

I feel this is a step towards anarchy and socialism. If people don't believe in rules and social norms, we are doomed.

I'm old enough to where I probably won't be around to see the decay of what we have built. But in the meantime, let's all strive to Make America Great Again.

Do you think there should be bans on people staying in hotels and motels during the coronavirus pandemic?

Cities along the coast in Oregon have put bans in place to stop people from coming from other areas and staying in their cities and possibly spreading the coronavirus.
