Dear Editor: I enjoyed your article in Wednesday’s newspaper about the “port sampler” because I often see Trinity Sylvester when I go fishing in my kayak.
Now I know her name, and what she does with the information she collects.
Anyway, I have a suggestion for another story you may want to consider. I always wanted to know about the large commercial fishing boats I see every day. What they catch, how long out, what they do with the catch and where it goes from here.
Brookings is a big fishing town and I know nothing about the whole industry.
Thanks for the interesting paper
