My daughter got married. She and her husband had their wedding at Singing Springs Resort in Agness, Oregon. It was so beautiful. The resort is historic and the cabins are cozy. The restaurant is a rock's throw from the river and everyone there treats you like you’ve been friends forever.

There are so many people involved in making a wedding event and lots of work to have it run smoothly.

Perhaps the first people you might think of is the DJ and the bartender and let me say they were incredibly fun. I enjoyed watching my children hanging out and enjoying each other and I enjoyed dancing with my grandchildren to the wonderful music of the DJ… but the unsung heroes are the most needed and appreciated. Thank you to the ladies of Singing Springs Resort: Terry, Denise, LaDonna and Brenda.

They worked so hard to set up, clean up, decorate our tables, serve the guests… and then stuck around all night to continue to help and serve us guests. You are very loved and appreciated. Denise, you were fantastic. Thank you for helping the guests park and directing them to the event. I really liked watching you dance as well. You ladies made this wedding cozy and friendly, and you treated us like family.

Also I LOVE the cabins, I never want to leave.

And one more thank you to Terry again, for all the scrumptious eats that you made for us. And to Douglas Momchilovich from Cuzz’in Douggies Barbecue for the outstanding smoked brisket.

Best smoked meats in town!

And thank you Teira and Richard Neely for inviting us to your wedding. I love you baby girl and I am so proud of you.
