This past week, as I was driving along Chetco Avenue, I noticed some 30 or so people near the fountain in front of Grocery Outlet. I could not help but wonder what they were doing there.

It was not until I came alongside them and saw the signs and tee shirts saying "My body, my choice," did I realize that they were demonstrating for abortion rights.  It was heartwarming to see this support for a woman's right to choose on display in Brookings.
