Get off your high horse. A few years back our now convicted felon, former sheriff issued a proclamation letter to the media proclaiming that he would not enforce a non-existing law that would require him to take away our citizen's guns.

Now our Curry County Board of Commissioners proclaims that it will not enforce non-existing COVID lockdown restrictions. Both of these arguments were based on their decision of how they are interpreting the enforcement of our U.S. Constitutional rights.

These rights and the manner in which laws may be enforced are only to be determined by the courts, ultimately the Supreme Court, not small county sheriffs and commissioners. This political grandstanding is a big waste of time. Take a law class.

Thank you for the sanity. The political motives of elected officials is vile and disgusting. This is worse than when the BOC wasted taxpayer money to support and Second Amendment rights statement. There was no reason for it other than political grandstanding by ignorant fools.
