I just finished reading about fraudulent allegations and a lawsuit that was filed against one of Curry’s Commissioners. The Commissioner fortunately had documents that proved his innocence and all allegations and the lawsuit were dismissed.

The lawsuit was led by another Commissioner, Sue Gold. All the allegations were proven false but cost you, Curry County Taxpayers, money. The case and the complaints spanned at least two years and spent Curry County employee time while reviewing and investigating the false charges.

I read on the Board of Commissioners’ website that one of the responsibilities of the commissioners is to “act as liaisons to assure the smooth coordination and functioning of all county offices and departments.” I do not think that is what Ms. Gold had, nor has, in mind.

I’m not voting for that! I know a man who is not full of himself, always tries to do a good job, loves this community and has a moral code of ethics. I’m voting for John Herzog; he will work for Curry County!
