According to the letters to the editor guidelines, letters will be … edited for blatant inaccuracies. Unsubstantiated or irresponsible allegations or personal attacks … will not be published. Details represented as facts rather than opinions must include their sources.
Yet you printed “Trump’s anti-Americanism continues after election.” This letter is filled with unsubstantiated, irresponsible allegations and personal attacks. Statements such us “serving Putin and other dictators,” depriving Americans of their vote” and “the Trump cult and crime family syndicate.”
Regarding the COVID virus, the writer states, “Trump does nothing.” He did somehow encourage U.S. manufacturers to change their production to over 400,000 respirators. Under President Trump’s leadership, hospital tents were set up, Navy ships became hospitals and pharmaceutical companies were urged to produce vaccines ASAP.
I’m appalled, disgusted and angered that you published this letter. Apparently, your own letters to the editor principles do not apply to anti-Trump letters.
