On the evening of April 14, Tina went to be with her heavenly father after complications with her back surgery. Her compassionate maternal and nurturing spirit was a gift that blessed all who came in contact with her. Tina was born in Gold Beach and attended school in Brookings and graduated from BHHS in 1975. She moved to Washington State where she married and had a son. She then traveled working various jobs, ending up in Texas, where she met and married her soulmate and had another son. Tina had many occupations while in Texas but ultimately ended up working at the Walmart Distribution Center in New Braunfels, Texas, from which she retired after 22 years of service.

Tina loved spending time with her family and tending to her garden and caring for many of her farm animals which included chickens, two dogs, and a pair of geese. She recently was able to fulfill a lifelong dream of riding an elephant on a trip to Cambodia and Thailand.

Tina is preceded in death by her parents, Gene Beeks and Dee and Dan Exton. She is survived by her husband, Eddie Miller, and two sons, Eddie Miller ll and Jason Lund of McQueeny, Texas. Tina is also survived by two brothers, Tony Beeks and wife Sarah of McQueeny, Texas and Tracey Beeks of Portland; and two sisters, Tammy Hansen and husband Mike of Bonney Lake, Washington and Teresa Art of Desoto, Kansas. Also surviving are Rick and Sue Oliver of Brookings and John and Cindy Exton of Albany, plus many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and a brand new great-granddaughter.

Tina’s Celebration of Life was held April 27 at her church in New Braunfels, Texas with over 200 in attendance, many of whom rode Harley motorcycles to honor Tina as she and Eddie were avid motorcyclists.

Everyone who had the privilege of meeting Tina was made better by her bright smile and warm spirit. Tina was loved by many and was taken far to soon and will be sorely missed.
