Patricia Ellen Anderson, 78, of La Grande, passed away on Friday, December 3, 2021 at Kadlec Medical Center, Richland, WA. A Funeral Service was held at the La Grande Faith Lutheran Church on Friday, December 10, 2021. The Graveside Service was held at the W. J. Ward Memorial Cemetery, Brookings, OR on Wednesday, December 15, 2021.

Patricia was born on October 13, 1943, in Willits, California to Marian (Hamilton) Lamm. She resided in Willits, CA; Canyonville, OR; Eureka and McMinnville, CA; Brookings, OR and La Grande, OR. She attended Canyonville Elementary and graduated from Brookings Harbor High in 1961. She married Richard Van Gordon in 1961 and they divorced in 1964. She later married Charles Anderson in 1966 and was married 50+ years until his passing in 2018.

Patricia was a Telephone operator for Bell Telephone, and several other phone companies for 20 years. She loved her Dachshunds and the beach. She enjoyed reading, square dancing, embroidery, cooking and singing. She never met a book she didn’t like. She loved meeting new people and talking.

Patricia is survived by her children, Kathleen Boyd (Tony) of Cove, OR, Ramona Tuck (Chris) of Island City, OR, step-sons, Eugene Anderson (Peggy), and Duane Anderson (Sherry) both of Brookings, OR; sister, Janet Buness (Terry) of Wrangell, AK; 7 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles H. Anderson and mother, Marian Lamm.
