Melody Ann Kaufman

Melody Kaufman went to rest with the Lord on January 28, 2021 with her husband and daughter by her side, after complications following a surgery.

She was born in New York on October 19, 1949 to Lenora and Lloyd Stanley. She married her loving husband, Joseph Kaufman, in 1965, and they spent the next 55 years of their life side by side. In 1977, they moved to Gold Beach and together they started their business ventures, with her being the bookkeeper/office manager.

Melody love to sew, garden, can the fruits of her labor, and enjoyed preparing meals for her family, most especially over the holidays. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Gold Beah. She enjoyed being with her church family. She supported many charities.

Melody was a rock to her family, and if her daughters needed her, she was there to give them guidance. She loved being a grandmother and loved spending time with her grandchildren, and of course, spoiling them.

Melody is survived by her husband, Joseph Kaufman and daughters Kim Hunnicutt, Gold Beach; Tamie Kaufman, Gold Beach; Jolene Saadat, Gold Beach; and Julie Williams, Coquille; also by her grandchildren Miranda Hunnicutt, Josey Kaufman, Rusty Williams and Kasey Saadat. She was preceded in death by her grandson Raymond Hunnicutt.

To everyone that knew Melody, we have lost a very special lady in our lives, but she has changed her address and is going to go on a new adventure.
