Gladys Marie Harrell went home to her Lord on Christmas Day, Dec. 25, 2019.    She was born on Feb. 8, 1943 in Medford, Oregon, to Albert Clayton and Dorothy Chadwick.

 She moved with her family to Brookings in 1952 where she met her first husband James E. Harrell (deceased).  They were married on Aug. 4, 1958. They had four children Rose M Harrell of Tillamook, Oregon, Albert L. Harrell of DesArc, Arkansas, Timothy B. Harrell of Sandy, Oregon and J. Allen Harrell (deceased).  She also was blessed with 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Sheral DuBry of Medford, brothers James (JC) Clayton and Roscoe Clayton both of Brookings.  

She was preceded in death by a brother Edward (Bert) Clayton.

She married her current husband James Kelly in June of 2012.  Gladys loved playing with her grandkids and caring for others.  She enjoyed Gospel music, gardening, doing puzzles and winning anyone who would play cribbage with her.  She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.  

She will be missed by all whose life she was blessed to touch.
