Dorothy Pauline Horton, passed away peacefully at home in Brookings, OR on May 2, 2019. She was born in Milverton, Ontario, Canada on Nov. 17, 1936. Dorothy lived a very full life. The daughter of John Elder and Lizzie McWha of Northern Ireland, she grew up in Canada and British Guiana.

She married David Johnston Horton from Dublin, Ireland on March 21, 1959. They had a wonderful life together living in Toronto, New Jersey, Montreal, Ottawa, Hawaii, Connecticut, California, and Texas before finally settling down in Brookings 22 years ago.

She passed away surrounded by her loving children; Bob Horton of Brookings, Patricia Horton of Coppell, Texas, and Karen Murdock of Coppell, Texas.

Her children and her grandson, Justin Murdock, will miss her very much. But, we like to think that she has reunited with her beloved David - who passed away in 2010- are happy and on their next adventure together.
