Dale Lee Dorris passed peacefully from this life November 5, 2019 at the age of 75 years. Dale was born June 6, 1944 in Port Angeles, Washington to Ernest and Glayds (Sawyer) Dorris. Dale married his high school sweetheart Lynda in 1966. They had a son Darren. Dale moved from Washington to Oregon at a young age as his father was a timber faller. After graduating from Brookings Harbor High School he worked with his father and uncle in the woods for a summer. Dale then started work at the Plywood and later at Southcoast where he worked as a truck driver and heavy equipment operator until he retired. He cherished all his life long friends he met working both at the Plywood and Southcoast. Dale loved doing yard work with his son Darren. They also enjoyed drinking coffee and visiting friends in town most mornings. He enjoyed going to Medford and Cottage Grove to watch the sprint car races.
