Christine Downard, 69, of Brookings Oregon, passed away Saturday April 4, 2020 in the Sutter Coast Hospital in Crescent City California.

Chris was born in San Bernardino California, September 19, 1950. She attended local schools and was a real estate agent for many years before moving to Brookings in 1994, where she opened and operated until her death, Distinctive Mobiles Homes by the Sea.

Chris is survived by her daughter Michelle Cramer, granddaughter MaRyan and her husband, Ian , her grandson, Matthew and his wife, Danielle. Chris is also survived by her son, John Downard and his wife, Becky, her sister Shirley, and her beloved dog Molly. She is also survived by the family of her heart that she assembled in Brookings.

Chris was known and loved by many; her vivacious personality and infectious laugh warmed the hearts of all who knew her. She was a brilliant business woman, known for getting the job done.

Those who knew her knew she lived life to its fullest and was grateful for every moment. She was a strong woman of faith and shared her love of the Lord willingly. A memorial to a life well lived will take place on her birthday, September 19, 2020, time and place to be announced at a later date
