On the evening of April 13, 2019, while surrounded by family, Clif made the final move in his battle against cancer. He fought like a true warrior. Clif left the evil filth that had invaded his body where it then starved in an empty shell, while he is free and at peace with our Lord. Clif is now with the loved ones that left before him, yet is still in our hearts, memories, and in those of the lives he touched.

A longtime resident of Brookings, Clif is survived by his sons: Trenton and Damien, his father, Hugh “Al” Mills, mother, Barbara Orcutt, brothers; Allen Mills, Nathan Needham, and Chason Pope, as well as countless others who will forever love and smile for him.

A mischievous youth, Clif never outgrew his penchant for fun. With his wry persona and bold spirit he influenced a lifetime of memories. From dancing in the dark on a bridge to elaborate anime costumes for Kumoricon, Clif was always brave enough to be himself...and we loved him for it.

We ask that you honor Clif by keeping his memory alive. Share the happiness he brought and remember the good times.

We sincerely thank each and every person that helped Clif, and helped us, during this battle. We would also like to thank the exceptional staff at OHSU who now only fought valiantly with Clif, but also showed genuine caring and kindness for us all.

Please remember, in the end,

Screw Cancer!

A Celebration of Life will be held Sat. May 4 at the Church of the Nazarene, 1600 Chetco Ave, Brookings. Time for sharing will be 10am with a service following at 12pm.
