Young in mind and heart, Brookings resident Kacey Miller’s vivacious spirit left her body at her home on Aug. 5, 2018, on her terms, surrounded by family and friends.

Born in Portland, Kacey moved frequently and loved traveling the globe, meeting new friends, absorbing new cultures, and expanding her life experience. Kacey was a student of nature and an accomplished artist.

She is survived by her husband Ron, her son John Miller, daughter Janis “Lizzy” Clark (spouse Diane Gronewold), sister JJ Mingione, “adopted” sons Michael Whiting and Azzedine Sohab, and a multitude of friends.

Her family “Thanks” everyone from Coastal Hospice who opened their hearts to Kacey over the last months. A tree is planted by the ocean (her lifelong love) in her honor and memory. She will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.
