Kathleen Laverne Finnigan, born July 7, 1947, passed away on Feb. 7, 2018, with her two sons by her side.

She loved spending time with family, going camping up river, playing dice with friends, or just sitting around a campfire joking around with her loved ones. An incredible mom, grandma, aunt, cousin, and friend, could make anyone laugh and continued to do just that up until her last moments.

Kathleen leaves behind her brother Bill Musser and sisters Susan Johnson and Karen McGlaughlin, sons Tim Musser and girlfriend Emily Rolfe and Bernie Cerda and girlfriend Celina Verceles; her grandkids Destiny

She loved spending time with family, going camping up river, playing dice with friends, or just sitting around a campfire joking around with her loved ones. An incredible mom, grandma, aunt, cousin, and friend, could make anyone laugh and continued to do just that up until her last moments.

Kathleen leaves behind her brother Bill Musser and sisters Susan Johnson and Karen McGlaughlin, sons Tim Musser and girlfriend Emily Rolfe and Bernie Cerda and girlfriend Celina Verceles; her grandkids Destiny Scrubb, Latoya Hale, Marco Corr and Isaiah Forney, Michael andwife Michele Hyde, Heather Hyde and Amanda Hyde, Blake and Erynn Musser, Kyle and Ryan Cerda and Jordan Lofton, as well as many more people who considered this incredible woman their grandma.

She also leaves behind loved ones daughter-in-law Tammie Musser, all of her great-grandchildren, her daughter Joey Nelson, nieces and nephews and many friends.

She wasn’t short on people who loved her or cared for her and will live on in the hearts of all of these people.

She is preceded in death by her brothers, parents and two daughters.

A potluck memorial will be held at Brookings Elks Lodge March 10, 2018, at noon. Please join us to celebrate the life of an amazing woman.
