The police blotter is a public record of incidents as reported by law enforcement agencies. All individuals arrested or charged with a crime are innocent until proven guilty. The information printed is preliminary and subject to change. The Brookings Police Department provides emergency dispatch services for the City of Brookings as well as Southern Curry County 9-1-1 calls, dispatching for state, county, and local law enforcement, five fire departments, and Cal-Ore ambulance. At 12:38, a motorist was cited after a routine traffic stop in the Shell parking lot for driving without insurance. 
At 2:03 p.m., a report of shots fired in the 97800 block of Marks Lane. 
At 6:09 p.m., a report of an illegal burn in the Sunshine Cove area. 
At 7:12 p.m., a report of a fire in the 91800 block of Chetco River Road. 
At 7:27 p.m., a report of a hit and run in the Taco Bell parking lot. 
At 9:29 p.m., a report of a dispute/fight at Railroad and Alder streets. 
 
Thursday, June 18: 
At 9:34 a.m., a report of a disorderly conduct in the 500 block of Fir Street. 
At 10 a.m., a report of an unlawful entry of a motor vehicle in the 300 block of Alder Street. 
At 11:48 a.m., a report of a traffic crash with no injuries in at Chetco Avenue and Pacific Avenue. 
At 2:03 p.m., a report of a dispute/fight south of Bug Station. 
At 2:46 p.m., an animal complaint in the 500 block of Fern Avenue. 
At 3 p.m., a report of a fire at Oak Street and Chetco Avenue.  
At 3:25 p.m., a report of a fire in the 16200 block of Dixie Street. 
At 9:18 p.m., a report of an abandoned vehicle at East Harris Heights and Glenwood Drive.

At 12:55 a.m., a report of an unlawful entry of a motor vehicle in the 300 block of Spruce Drive. 
At 9:17 a.m., a report of illegal camping at the Botanical Gardens. 
At 12:05 p.m., a report of an animal complaint in the 200 block of Lilac Lane. 
At 3:48 p.m., a report of a dispute/fight in the 16300 block of U.S. Highway 101. 
At 5:24 p.m., an animal complaint reported at Ransom Street and Chetco Avenue. 
At 10:11 p.m., a report of illegal fireworks used on Olsen Lane. 
At 10:11 p.m., a report of shots fired in the 98100 block of West Benham Lane.

At 8:14 a.m., a report of a subject in possession of drugs in the Mill Beach area. 
At 11:56 a.m., a report of a traffic crash with no injuries in the 600 block of Chetco Avenue. 
At 4:27 p.m., a report of criminal mischief in the 98100 block of Gavin Lane. 
At 8:09 p.m., a subject was criminally trespassed from the 97800 block of Court Street. 
At 9:38 p.m., a report of illegal fireworks used in the West Benham Lane and Olsen Lane area. 
At 10:51 p.m., a report of criminal mischief in the 1100 block of Chetco Avenue. 
At 9:55 p.m., an animal complaint reported in the 97900 block of Shopping Center Avenue.

At 12:50 a.m., a subject was criminally trespassed from the 200 block of Wharf Street. 
At 3:37 a.m., a report of a dispute/fight in the 16800 block of U.S. Highway 101. 
At 8:46 a.m., a report of illegal camping at the Botanical Gardens. 
At 2:48 p.m., a report of traffic crash with no injuries at U.S. Highway 101 and Redwood Theater. 
At 7:04 p.m., a report of probation violation in the 600 block of Chetco Avenue. 
At 10:19 p.m., a subject was criminally trespassed from the 15100 block of McVay Lane. 
 
Monday, June 22: 
At 9:20 a.m., an animal complaint reported in the 600 block of 5th Street. 
At 9:27 a.m., a report of a dispute/fight in the 98400 block of Chetco Avenue. 
At 11:51 a.m., a report of criminal trespassing on Grootendorst Lane. 
At 2:24 p.m., an uncooperative customer was formally trespassed from Goodwill at 890 Chetco Ave. 
At 9:03 p.m., a report of reckless driving in the north bank area of Chetco River Road.  
 
Tuesday, June 23: 
At 12:06 a.m., a motorist was cited for driving with a suspended license on Chetco Avenue. 
At 7:46 a.m., a possible fire creating lots of brown smoke reported north of Eggers Road. 
At 2:14 p.m., transients camping on private property on Bridge Street were trespassed. 
At 4:37 p.m., a family member was given a three-day trespass from a residence in the 1200 block of Iris Street. 
At 6:46 p.m., an adult male in the 500 block of Spruce Street was warned for telephonic harassment. 
At 7:36 p.m., an animal complaint reported in the 16000 block of Boat Basin Road.
