At 2:39 p.m. Dispute/fight reported at Lucky Lane.

At 3:02 p.m. Criminal trespass reported in the 700 block of Chetco Avenue.

At 3:48 p.m. Report of forgery/fraud/bad check at Paradise Lane.

At 4:15 p.m. Deceased subject reported in Azalea Park.

At 5:10 p.m. Illegal camping reported at East Harris Heights.

At 7:39 p.m. Report of forgery/fraud/bad check at a business on Lower Harbor Road.

At 10:04 p.m. Report of a deceased subject at Indianhead Lane.

Tuesday, Oct. 1

At 7:38 a.m. Fire reported near Whaleshead Beach was a controlled burn on Eggers Road visible from the beach, per Coos Forest Protective Association.

At 11:34 a.m. A minor was cited and released for possession of marijuana on Pioneer Road.

At 1:52 p.m. Transient male who was jumping in and out of traffic on the Chetco River Bridge was counseled by responding officers.

At 1:58 p.m. Suspicious conditions reported at a business in the 600 block of Chetco Avenue.

At 2:06 p.m. Dispute/fight reported on Chilcote Lane.

At 3:58 p.m. Suspicious conditions reported at Collis Lane.

At 4:47 p.m. Two juveniles were warned for disorderly conduct after fighting loudly in public at Oak Street and Chetco Avenue.

At 6:36 p.m. Intoxicated and disorderly transient male on South Bank Chetco River Road contacted by deputies.

At 7:42 p.m. Multiple 911 calls received regarding transient male attempting to jump off the Chetco River Bridge from the southbound lane. An OSP trooper took the subject into custody on a police officer hold and followed the ambulance to the hospital.

At 9:48 p.m. Officer on routine patrol heard a loud verbal dispute and arrived just as the involved parties left a restaurant on Chetco Avenue in a white pickup headed South. Male passenger was arrested on two outstanding warrants plus additional charges and transported to jail.

Wednesday, Oct. 2

At 3:02 a.m. Citizen near Ransom Avenue reported seeing a flare from the ocean. U.S. Coast Guard Chetco River Station was advised.

At 9:41 a.m. An ongoing dispute was reported between business owners with a shared alley on Spruce Street.

At 1:11 p.m. Suspicious conditions reported at Azalea Park. Officers were unable to locate an elderly man down on the ground, as reported.

At 1:29 pm. Theft of gas reported from a box truck on Chetco Avenue. Video turned over to officer for review.

At 2:05 p.m. Theft of merchandise reported at a store in the 600 block of Chetco Avenue. Suspects known; investigation continuing.

At 3:06 p.m. Threats reported at Lucky Lane.

At 6:38 p.m. Male walking around a business in the 1000 block of Chetco Avenue arrested for indecent exposure, disorderly conduct, and interfering with a police investigation. Transported to jail.

At 9:29 p.m. Dispute/fight reported at Easy Manor Drive.

At 10:09 p.m. Dispute/fight reported at Brown Deer Lane.

Thursday, Oct. 3

At 5:45 a.m. Suspicious conditions reported on Redwood Street.

At 9:30 a.m. Unlawful entry of motor vehicle reported on Court Street.

At 1:11 p.m. Adult male arrested on a Del Norte County warrant during a traffic stop Old County Road. Transported to jail without incident.

At 2:27 p.m. Female transient stole jacket from store and fled on foot. She was located at the post office, where she was arrested on multiple outstanding warrants, and for theft in the third degree and criminal trespass. Lodged in jail.

At 2:30 p.m. Vehicle in a parking lot on 5th Street hit by an RV, whose driver did not stop. Suspect vehicle was not located.

At 4:14 p.m. Dispute/fight reported at Shopping Center Avenue.

At 4:56 p.m. Threats reported on Spruce Drive.

At 6:24 p.m. Illegal camping reported on Parkview Drive near airport. An Arizona-plated motorhome was tagged by a deputy for towing.

At 9:21 p.m. Dispute/fight reported on Chinook Lane.

At 10:55 p.m. Fire reported on South Bank Chetco River Road.

Friday, Oct. 4

At 12:22 a.m. Suspicious conditions reported on Fir Street.

At 12:45 a.m. Suspicious conditions reported on Parkview Drive near airport gate.

At 8:22 a.m. Dispute/fight reported at Oceanview Drive.

At 10:33 a.m. Suspicious conditions reported at Vista Ridge Lane.

At 2:10 p.m. Minor in possession/purchase of liquor on Pacific Avenue.

At 6:26 p.m. Theft of services reported at a business in the 800 block of Chetco Avenue.

At 10:21 p.m. Prowler reported on Wharf Street.

Thursday, Sept. 26

At 8:58 p.m. At a traffic stop for a violation, driver exhibited signs of impairment and consented to perform field sobriety tests. Driver was arrested for DUII and transported to Brookings Police Department for intoxilyzer, with a final blood alcohol content of 0.12%. Driver cited for reckless driving and DUII alcohol.

Tuesday, Oct. 1

At 7:44 p.m. a male subject was called in as being in and out of traffic on the Chetco Bridge on U.S. Highway 101 and possibly attempting to jump off of the bridge. The subject was contacted and arrested for disorderly conduct. He was cleared at Curry General Hospital and lodged in the Curry County Jail.
