It wasn't as easy as it looked!

As part of the Gold Beach High School homecoming week, several students gathered on the school's front lawn along Highway 101, and attempted to eat raspberry-filled powdered doughnuts.

Before the game held on Wednesday afternoon, Oct. 9, students threaded string through the doughnut holes and attached the string to long rulers. The students then held the contraption high in the air. Other students ducked beneath the swinging doughnuts, attempting to eat the tasty treat, without using their hands.

The event was a competition between the grades at the high school. No word yet on which grade won the contest.
