Tuesday, August 20

At 8:06 a.m. Caller reported theft of tools and gasoline from shed in Azalea Park.

At 2:45 p.m. Officers responded to a dispute/fight on Fifth Street.

At 3:24 p.m. Caller reported stalking. Police provided stalking order packet to female.

At 3;53 p.m. Caller reported dispute/fight on Court Street.

At 6:03 p.m. Citizen with illegal debris burn in yard underneath trees contacted by fire personnel. He put fire out and was counseled.

 

Wednesday, August 21

At 9:03 a.m. Caller reported ongoing neighbor dispute on Seacrest Lane. Both parties warned for trespass and telephonic harassment.

At 10:07 a.m. Citizen reported theft of flag and criminal mischief to vehicle on West Harris Heights.

At 12:18 p.m. Transient warned for yelling and causing disturbance near business on Chetco Avenue.

At 2:47 p.m. Caller reported criminal mischief on Wharf Street.

Thursday, August 22

At 9:29 p.m. County deputy and state trooper assisted lost mother and daughter with finding their car after getting lost in the hills above Lone Ranch Beach.

Friday, August 23

At 1:10 a.m. Officers responded to report of disorderly conduct. Citizen observed three juveniles break glass in road near Chetco and 5th, then walk away. Officer contacted them walking up Elk Street and had them return to clean up the road. Parents advised of incident and curfew violation.

At 2:15 a.m. Citizen reported dispute on Mendy Street after being awakened by woman screaming.

At 2:45 a.m. Harbor resident on U.S. Highway 101 S. woke to find transient sleeping on porch. Resident unable to wake him. After deputies were called and medics staged, man got up on his own and walked off.

At 4:13 a.m. Unknown prowler set off resident’s vehicle alarm twice on Pioneer Road.

At 4:39 p.m. Caller reported hit-and-run on West Benham Lane.

Sunday, August 25

At 2:39 a.m. Caller reported theft on Chetco Avenue.

At 7:43 a.m. Caller reported theft on U.S. Highway 101 north of Harris Beach.

At 8:16 a.m. Caller reported theft at Clifford Kamph County Park in Smith River.

At 8:30 a.m. Caller reported theft at West Harris Heights.

At 8:31 a.m. Caller reported theft on Seaview Lane.

At 11:13 a.m. Deceased subject reported on Crown Terrace Road.

At 12:32 p.m. Report of disorderly conduct in Smith River.
