Wednesday, August 14

At 9:45 p.m. Assault reported on Boat Basin Road in Harbor.

At 6:46 p.m. Officer contacted young male adult operating electric scooter at high rate of speed in a parking lot on 5th Street; not wearing a helmet. Driver drove off and was cited.

Thursday, August 15

At 12:01 p.m. Male juvenile riding bike in wrong direction on Chetco Avenue struck by a motorist but not injured. Driver did stop to check on subject.

At 2:00 p.m. Adult female transient arrested on Chetco Avenue for reckless endangering after reportedly trying to run over boyfriend with a van.

At 6:40 p.m. Multiple calls received reporting smoke on a ridge of South Bank Chetco. Coos Forest Patrol notified and sent resources. Fire about one-quarter acre and extinguished.

Friday, August 16

At 2:53 a.m. Officer VanZelf and K9 Hulk assisted deputies and Search and Rescue in locating young child who had wandered away from his campsite near Brookings in the middle of the night. Uninjured and was reunited with family,

At 11:13 a.m. Caller at North Bank and Old County Road reported criminal trespass.

At 1:32 p.m. Caller on U.S. Highway 101 S. reported criminal trespass.

At 2:00 p.m. Caller on Rowland Lane reported forgery/fraud/bad check.

At 3:45 p.m. Caller on Oak Street reported theft.

At 3:49 p.m. Caller on Chetco Avenue reported criminal trespass.

At 7:46 p.m. Caller on 5th Street reported criminal trespass.

Sunday, August 18

At 2:35 a.m. Caller reported dispute/fight on Coverdell Road.

At 11:53 a.m. Caller reported dispute/fight on Sundown Road.

At 1:57 p.m. Caller on Mill Beach Road reported criminal trespass.

At 3:59 p.m. Disorderly conduct reported on Parkview Drive.

At 6:03 p.m. Caller reported dispute/fight on Pacific Avenue.

Monday, August 19

At 8:52 a.m. Caller reported hit-and-run on Park Avenue.

At 11:35 a.m. Caller reported disorderly conduct on Chetco Avenue.

At 12:23 p.m. Caller reported theft at restaurant on Chetco Avenue.
