Tuesday, Oct. 22
At 6:10 a.m. Criminal mischief done to business and property on Ross Road following a trespass notice to transient(s).
At 9:26 a.m. Officer followed up on identity theft reported in the 400 block of Chetco Avenue.
At 9:47 p.m. Officer checked on vehicle parked on Alder Street. It was occupied by two transients, one of whom claims to be the new owner of the vehicle. She is not licensed to drive and admitted to having no insurance. She was advised to leave the car parked until she could remedy this.
At 1:19 p.m. Officer investigating a burglary on Ransom Avenue.
At 3:42 p.m. Officer investigating fraudulent use of a citizen's bank card by a subject in Texas.
At 4:33 p.m. OSP arrested transient male on a circuit court warrant at Alder Street and Railroad Avenue.
Wednesday, Oct. 23
At 12:07 a.m. Transient male advised of park hours and moved along at Azalea Park.
At 12:32 a.m. Adult male transient arrested on a circuit court warrant and transported to jail without incident behind a business in the 900 block of Chetco Avenue.
At 1:12 a.m. Officer mediated a family dispute at Oakwood Court. Involved parties agreed to calm down and go to bed for the night.
At 12:37 a.m. Criminal trespass reported on Lovell Lane.
At 8:24 a.m. Theft reported at Memory Lane where 1 x 12 cedar boards were stolen from a residence by occupant(s) of a white panel van that was witnessed in the neighborhood early in the morning. Investigation continuing.
At 12:55 p.m. Occupants of an improperly parked motor home on Alder Street were advised of the municipal code violation and advised to move it onto private property.
At 1:32 p.m. Male transient trespassed from a business on 5th Street for the day for harassing customers. Responding officer arrested him on a warrant and transported him to jail without incident.
At 4:52 p.m. Officer took photos of damage to a vehicle caused by a hit-and-run incident in the 1000 block of Chetco Avenue.
At 5:35 p.m. Adult male who had violated a restraining order and did so again in the presence of officers at a business on 5th Street was arrested for the violations and transported to jail.
At 9:16 p.m. Adult male transient was arrested and cited for theft of services after ordering wine and the most expensive dish on the menu, then refusing to pay after consuming the items at restaurant in the 600 block of Chetco Avenue.
Thursday, Oct. 24
At 12:10 a.m. Prowler reported on Wildwood Road.
At 2:30 a.m. Transient female was warned for trespassing on private property on Railroad Avenue and moved along.
At 7:11 a.m. Transient male sleeping at a business on Railroad Avenue startled employees. He was trespassed from the property and moved along.
At 8:30 a.m. Citizen witnessed a man driving a small red car purposely harassing a group of deer with his poor driving behaviors at Chetco Point.
At 11:33 a.m. Adult male was arrested on Easy Street on a parole board warrant and transported to jail without incident.
At 11:43 a.m. Juveniles on Easy Street cited for minor in possession of marijuana, no operator’s license, and permitting unlawful operation of a vehicle. Marijuana and paraphernalia confiscated as evidence.
At 12:06 p.m. Officer investigating a reported restraining order violation on Hemlock Street.
At 1:50 p.m. Transient male warned for disorderly conduct for blocking a sidewalk, where he was napping near a business on 5th Street.
At 5:12 p.m. Multiple agencies assisted at Lone Ranch Beach when a parent reported that their 3-year-old child had gone into the ocean. The child was found safe, on land, and returned to parent.
Friday, Oct. 25
At 3:06 pm. Theft reported at Harris Beach Rest Area.
At 4:53 p.m. Criminal trespass reported on Shopping Center Avenue.
At 6:53 p.m. Dispute/fight reported on Ransom Avenue.
At 9:20 p.m. Disorderly conduct reported at Ransom Avenue.

At 3:55 a.m. Disorderly conduct reported on Ocean View Drive.
At 2:12 p.m. Theft reported on Court Street.
At 4:12 p.m. Threats reported on West Benham Lane.
