St. Tim's

St. Timothy's Episcopal Church in Brookings is one of many places in the county where people can receive a free COVID-19 test or vaccine.

St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church received 50 doses of the Pediatric Pfizer vaccine and will be administering them on a first-come, first-served basis on Saturday, Nov. 6, from 10 a.m.-noon.

The church is located at 401 Fir Street, in Brookings.

Earlier this week, the CDC recommended that children 5 to 11 years old be vaccinated against COVID-19 with the Pfizer-BioNTech pediatric vaccine.

According to Father Bernie Lindley at St. Timothy’s, the pediatric doses may go quickly tomorrow, so arriving early is recommended.

A registered nurse will also be providing booster COVID vaccines tomorrow from noon-3 p.m. at St. Timothy’s.

Lindley said flu shots are not yet available, but he expects they will be receiving those soon.
