The Friends of Curry Public Library regret to announce the cancellation of their “End of Summer Book Sale,” scheduled for Labor Day weekend. Due to the recent increase in COVID cases and out of an abundance of caution, cancellation seemed the best way to ensure the safety of the community.

The library remains open, with masks required while inside. There are thousands of books, videos and CDs available to check-out to satisfy your media needs until the friends are able to safely re-schedule a book sale. You can find Curry Public Library hours of operations and the latest on the schedule of events, including the outdoor movie showings in the parking lot, on Facebook, the library’s website or by calling the library.

Everyone wants to return to normal activities, including the book sale to re-home books and benefit programs, equipment and services the library could not otherwise provide the community. The friends have opted to wait a bit longer to ensure it can be done safely.
