The Miss Pacific the commercial fishing boat, Miss Pacific, is towed to Newport for repairs.

Following a destructive fire on board, crews have towed the Miss Pacific to a repair facility in Newport.

The 85-foot commercial fishing vessel caught fire Dec. 6 while at the Port of Brookings Harbor. Investigators said the cause of the blaze is undetermined.

There were no injuries reported. Fire officials could not estimate the damage amount following the blaze.

The boat is owned by Pacific Choice Seafood and operated by Randy Wenbourne, according to commercial fisherman James Day.
