Hi Santa

Share the magic of Christmas with that special child in your life. Do you know a child who would be thrilled to receive a personalized letter from the North Pole? The Friends of Curry Public Library’s “Letters from Santa” project does just that; creating personalized letter to your littlest loved ones. The letters are delivered by mail in time for Christmas.

Letters are written by Friends of Curry Public Library volunteers. They send them to Alaska where they are postmarked from the North Pole and forwarded to your favorite child’s mailbox. A donation of $5 is requested.

All you need to do to delight the special child in your life is pick up a form at Curry Public Library on 3rd Street in Gold Beach, fill it out and return it to the library. The form asks for basic information about your little one, including favorite activities; siblings, friends and pets; and things of interest to Santa about the child. We’ll do the rest. The forms will also be available at the Friends of Curry Public Library Gift Quality Book Sale on Friday and Saturday, November 12-13, from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. in the library’s lobby.

To make the magic happen, all forms and payment must be turned in to the Curry Public Library staff no later than noon on Monday, November 22. That allows time to complete the process for delivery before Christmas.

The proceeds of the $5 donation per letter supports Curry Public Library funding for programs, equipment and services the library could not otherwise provide the community. So besides adding a bit of holiday magic to your special child’s life, you’ll be giving back to your community. Questions? Contact Jeanie at 541-425-5090 or email jmarieknowles@charter.net.
