The National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians has recognized Cal-Ore Life Flight paramedic Cary Hill for achieving 20 consecutive years of national EMS certification.

The distinction reportedly is an honor held by few EMS professionals.

To maintain her status as a nationally registered paramedic, Hill completed a comprehensive re-certification program for EMS professionals, including regular continuing-education courses.

Hill was nationally registered as a paramedic in 1998. She has been serving the Brookings community since 1999, according to a recent press release.
