Curry County is working to develop a new strategic plan to guide the County’s priorities for the next five years.
As part of this work, the County will be hosting a public open house from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, November 12, at the Curry Public Public Library, 94341 3rd St, in Gold Beach.
The goal of the strategic plan is to help Curry County identify major priorities and determine actions to achieve those goals. It should also help the County increase transparent communication about the work it is doing to serve the public as efficiently and effectively as possible. The planning process is being facilitated by an independent group from Moss Adams, and will bring together ideas and information from the County Board of Commissioners, staff, residents, and other stakeholders.
To gather resident feedback, the County will publish an online public survey and host an open house on November 12. At this open house, the public will be invited to provide input about the County’s potential goals, challenges, and opportunities for the coming years. All interested residents are strongly encouraged to attend and participate.
The survey, when available, will be posted at www.TravelCurryCoast.com, under the Live page, under Moving Forward!
