Jeffrey Edward Costa, born 1994, of Harbor, was convicted on a charge of third-degree sexual abuse and sentenced to 36 months’ probation, 60 days in jail, fined $1,100 and ordered to not possess any sexually explicit material, enroll in a sexual offender treatment program and have no contact with minors.
David Leslie Smith, born 1953, of Coquille, changed two pleas to guilty on charges of first-degree arson. In both cases, he was sentenced to 36 months’ probation, 21 days in jail; ordered to enroll in a mental health program and pay $20,000 in restitution. If he violates the terms of his probation conditions, his sentence will revert to a prison term with his time running consecutively, rather than concurrently as it will be in the initial sentencing. Two charges of reckless burning were dismissed.
Janae Marie Rodriguez, born 1975, of Gold Beach, pleaded not guilty to eight charges of mail theft or receipt of stolen mail and one charge of third-degree theft.
Jenna Dorene Howard, born 1984, of Gold Beach, was convicted on four of 10 identity theft charges and one of first-degree criminal mistreatment. She was sentenced to 18 months’ probation, 10 days in jail to be served concurrently with a 30-day sentence in the mistreatment sentencing, ordered not work as a caregiver and fined $1,000. The second, third and fourth identity theft convictions garnered her the same sentence, but with 10-day jail sentences to be served consecutive to the 10-day jail sentences handed down in the two other counts. Six other identity theft charges were dismissed, as was a first-degree theft charge. Restitution will be determined within 30 days.
Jonathan Dean Wilber, born 1991, of Harbor, pleaded guilty to a third-degree assault charge and was sentenced to two years’ probation, 15 days in jail and fined $1,600. A strangulation charge was dismissed.
Michael Alfred Tribur, born 1982, of Brookings, was arraigned on two charges of fourth-degree assault.
Jayden William Kidd, born 1988, of Harbor, pleaded guilty to failing to perform the duties of a driver resulting in property damage and was sentenced to 12 months’ probation and fined $500.
Zachary Zane Walker, born 1982, of Crescent City, was arraigned on a charge of unauthorized use of a vehicle.
Brandon Scott Pegram, born 1995, of the Cape Ferrelo area, changed his plea to guilty on a charge of second-degree disorderly conduct and was sentenced to 12 months probation and fined $350.
Richard James Joyner, born 1982, of Brookings, pleaded not guilty to a second-degree criminal mischief charge and was released.
Kevin Scott Eckhardt, born 1978, of Grants Pass, was arraigned on charges of DUII, reckless driving and failing to perform the duties of a driver resulting in property damage and was released.
Rachael Leigh McGovern, born 1971, of Crescent City, was convicted in absentia for failing to carry or present her driver’s license and was fined $1,250.
Matthew Edgar Lesh, born 1994, of Crescent City, was arraigned on a DUII charge and released.
Robert Dale Goode, born 1952, of Gold Beach, was arraigned and pleaded guilty to DUII and released.
Matthew Allen Taylor, born 1995 of Gold Beach, was arraigned on a charge of second-degree child neglect and released.
Jessica Lianne Denney, born 1985, of Gold Beach, was arraigned on a DUII charge and released.
Rochelle Deanne Miller, born 1972, of South Beach, pleaded guilty to a charge of failing to perform the duties of a driver resulting in property damage, and was sentenced to 24 months’ probation, five days in jail, a 90-day license suspension and ordered to pay $500 in fines. Restitution has yet to be determined. In a separate case, she pleaded guilty to one of three failure to appear in court citations and was sentenced to 24 months’ probation, 20 days in jail and fined $500. The other two citations were dismissed.
Jesse Michael Humphries, born 1985, of the Whaleshead area, pleaded guilty to DUII and had his one year probation status deferred and was fined $490.
Alexander William Resnick, born 1967, of Brookings, pleaded guilty to a charge of taking an undersized Dungeness crab and was fined $330.
Benjamin Elliott Monazi, born 1984, of Harbor, changed his plea to guilty on a felony charge of driving on a suspended license and was sentenced to two years’ probation, 20 days in jail to be served concurrently with that in another case in which he was convicted of the same charge, and fined $2,000.
Jason Lee Ivie, born 1994, of Brookings, pleaded not guilty to a first-degree theft charge. In the same case, he previously pleaded not guilty to three other charges of first-degree theft, two of second-degree theft and unlawful entry into a vehicle, and one each of possession of heroin, second-degree criminal mischief and failing to present a license.
Nicholas Floyd Loebs, born 1990, of Gold Beach, pleaded guilty to reckless driving and was sentenced to 24 months’ probation, a 90-day license suspension and fined $600.
Troy Donald Kelly, born 1973, of Gold Beach, pleaded guilty to DUII and had his sentence of one year probation and a $490 fine diverted.
Debra Irene Bradford, born 1968, of Gold Beach, pleaded guilty to DUII and had her sentence of one year probation and a $490 fine diverted.
Armando Magallon Lopez, born 1976, of Sunland, California, was arraigned on charges of DUII and driving with a suspended license.
