GO Sign

Customers were first to learn about Grocery Outlet's new store opening date with this sign at the cash registers.

Grocery Outlet has announced with this in-store sign that its new store at 906 Chetco Avenue, Brookings will open on Jan. 30.

The new location previously was the original store in the Ray’s grocery chain, which has been vacant since Nov. 2016. It is located across U.S. Highway 101 from the Fred Meyer store.

Grocery Outlet currently is in a Harbor shopping center at 16261 U.S. Highway 101 South. That location will close on Jan. 29.

Grocery Outlet has 270+ independently operated stores in California, Idaho, Nevada, Oregon, Pennsylvania, and Washington, according to the company's website.

See next Tuesday's edition of The Curry Coastal Pilot for more details.
