Kathryn was born in Kindrick, Oklahoma to Walter and Myrtle Watson, she was one of 15 children.
They moved many times during her youth. Her father loved to travel the country and find work wherever he could. They finally settled in Forsyth, Missouri where Kathryn met and married her first husband, James Morton and together they had four children.
In 1952, Kathryn moved to Harbor where she met and married James Fielder and together they she three more children.
Kathryn was known as “Kitty” to her family and friends. At a very young age, Kitty dedicated her life to children, not only to her own large family, but to everyone who needed her, no one ever left her home hungry.
Kitty worked in the lily fields for many years, and owned a restaurant in Smith River. She also worked and cooked at the old Mini Mart in Harbor.
Kitty is survived by her children: sons, James (Kara) Morton, Randall (Dianna) Morton, Scott Fielder, Bob (Debbie) Towne; daughters, Betty (Morton) and Richard Stone, Katey (Morton) Stylin, Cindy (Fielder) and Brett Scott. She is also survived by one brother, Ray Watson; 18 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Kitty was preceded in death by her husband James E. Fielder and daughter Debbie (Fielder) Ridderbusch, and great-granddaughter Rosalee Scott.
Services will be held noon Saturday, April 27, 2019 at Lighthouse Assembly of God in Harbor.
