Curry County Sheriff’s deputies arrested three people this week in connection with a burglary from a workshop at a residence on Jerry’s Flat Road in Gold Beach sometime last weekend.
Sheriff John Ward said the department received a call Nov. 25 from a resident who reported his workshop had been broken into and ransacked, and that numerous valuable items were stolen.

On Wednesday, deputies armed with a warrant to search a resident and vehicle at Rogue Landing Resort, found numerous stolen items related to the burglary, valued at about $8,500, the victim said.
In conjunction with the search warrant, deputies arrested Jared Rickard and Chelsea Reisinger, both 26 and from Gold Beach. Rickard was charged with second-degree burglary, first-degree theft and possession of methamphetamine. Reisinger was charged with first-degree theft by receiving.
Deputies then went to the residence of 26-year-old Cecil Wright on Chase Lane in Gold Beach and questioned him about the burglary and stolen property. Wright gave consent for them to search his home, and numerous stolen items were recovered there, as well.
Wright was then taken into custody, transported to the Curry County Jail and charged second-degree burglary and first-degree theft.
The value of those items was estimated at $3,500, the victim said.
All information and evidence was provided to the district attorney for prosecution. The Curry County Sheriff’s Office is continuing the investigation and searching for additional stolen property.
