The 31st annual Whale of a Wine Fest is happening Friday and Saturday, May 18 and 19, in Docia Swet Hall at the Event Center on the Beach at 29392 Ellensburg Ave. in Gold Beach.

The event features wines from 10 regional wineries plus beer from Arch Rock and cider from Bandon Rain Cider. Along with spirits, there will be food from Cougar Lane Lodge, Curry Fair Friends and Bayside Coffee.

Art from Curry Arts and a variety of artists as well as arts and crafts vendors will be present.

Music on Friday with Tiger Lily is from 4 to 6 p.m. and Arnold Ziffel Trio from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday’s music is by Tiger Lily from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Spectrum Sounds from 2 to 4 p.m. and the Arnold Ziffel Trio finishes the evening from 4 to 8.

The event is from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and continues from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday.

Tickets are $15 and are available at Gold Beach Books in Gold Beach, Wright’s Custom Framing and Art Supplies in Brookings and at the door.
