Hazard, 11:29 a.m.: U.S. 101 and Benham Lane.

Suicidal subject, 12:51 p.m.: Brookings.

Littering, 2:28 p.m.: 600 block of Hemlock Street.

Suspicious conditions, 5:47 p.m.: Rainbow Rock Road and U.S. 101.

Fire, 7:43 p.m.: Harbor Fire Department responded to 97900 block of Shopping Center Avenue.

Suspicious conditions, 11:39 p.m.: 700 block of Chetco Avenue.

Thursday, Jan. 25

Hazard, 1:34 a.m.: Chetco Avenue and Center Street.

Animal complaint, 1:38 a.m.: A large yellow lab dog, approximately 100 pounds with no collar, was found on the Chetco River bridge. The reporting party will keep the dog in their possession and attempt to locate the owner via social media.

Dispute, 5:43 a.m.: Upon arrival, involved parties denied the incident and there was no evidence of a dispute in the 500 block of Fir Street.

Unauthorized vehicle use, 6:42 a.m.: Police investigated the report of vehicle stolen between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m. in the 1200 block of Hub Street.

Assault, 9:30 a.m.: 600 block of Easy Street.

Fire, 10:38 a.m.: Brookings and Harbor fire units responded to a call of a smoke-filled room in the 300 block of Spruce Street. This was determined to be caused by an electrical problem and no fire was found.

Hazard, 10:59 a.m.: Fifth Street.

Driving complaint, 12:21 p.m.: A citizen reported a vehicle driven recklessly near Chetco Avenue and Fifth Street toward Easy Street.

Animal complaint, 12:46 p.m.: An older male black lab dog was found. Wild Rivers Animal Rescue took possession of dog at Railroad Street pens.

Dispute, 4:09 p.m.: 15500 block of Oceanview Drive

Theft, 4:53 p.m.: Theft of cash reported in the 1200 block of Moore Street.

Fire, 7:56 p.m.: Brookings and Harbor fire responded to a reported barn fire on Rainbow Rock Road. It was found to be a large burn pile involving illegal material. The fire was extinguished by landowner.
