Businesses throughout Brookings and Harbor are participating in the Trick or Treat for Tots program again this year.

“Chamber volunteers have been on the phone with businesses all last week to get them included on the list and send them their ‘participating’ poster,” Brookings Chamber of Commerce Office Manager  Judy May-Lopez said. “It is not too late to call the Chamber office, at 541-469-3181, to be included on the list and receive your poster.”

As in year’s past, businesses will post a “participating” jack-o-lantern poster with hours their business is available for the trick or treaters on Halloween Day, October 31. This year the list of businesses will be available at the Chamber of Commerce, 703 Chetco Avenue, open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. The list will also be posted on the Chamber website, and at Umpqua Bank, U.S. Bank, and Evergreen Bank.

Participating posters each include the times the business is available for trick or treaters to call. Some businesses are only available at certain hours, others are available throughout the day.

“With our list of participating businesses and their times available, we have tried to make it easy for all, and we urge everyone to follow the list and times available,” May-Lopez said.
