Linda Evans will be the featured artist for the Manley Art Center from September 5through October 2. There will be an Art Walk from 3-5 p.m. September 11, and Evans will be interviewed by Pete Chasar at 4 p.m.
Gallery Hours for September are Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Thursday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Evans is an accomplished oil and pastel artist who features mainly landscapes and seascapes along the Southern Oregon Coast. She works in plein air, capturing the changing weather and light in her artwork. Evans is mentored by master artists such as Richard McKinley, Albert Handell and Terri Ford. She is a member of the Pastel Artists of Oregon & Pastel Society of the West Coast, as well as the International Association of Pastel Societies. Her work has been featured at the Oregon Arts Council.
