The U.S. Geological Survey reports a 4.5 magnitude earthquake 10 km northeast of Port Orford occurred at about 5:45 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 29.

There have been no reports of damage. According to a post on the Curry County Emergency Management Facebook page, there is no tsunami threat from the earthquake.

This tremor is in the same general location of several small off shore earthquakes over the past several months.
